[에너지신문] 07 December 2015 - Elering, in charge of the Estonian electric system, announced the charges that finance the development of the renewable energy sources in the Estonia will rise by 7.5% as from January 2016. The tax will increase, from €1.07c/kWh to €1.15c/kWh, to cover a predicted consumption of electricity in 2016 of 1 255 GWh from renewable sources and 165 GWh from efficient CHP. The renewable energy charge is forecasted to total €67.4m and the CHP charge €5.3m. 48% of that amounts will finance wind power output, 42% production from biomass power plants with capacity above 20 MW, and 10% electricity generation from hydropower, solar power, biogas and biomass produced by small facilities.
