[에너지신문] 14 December 2015 - Australia Pacific LNG has started liquefying gas from its new LNG plant on Curtis Island near Gladstone (Queensland) in Australia. Australia Pacific LNG is a joint venture of ConocoPhillips (37.5%), Origin Energy Limited (37.5%) and Sinopec (25%) and processes gas from the Surat and Bowen basins, operated by Origin Energy, in two liquefaction trains with a combined capacity of 9 Mt/year. LNG will be sold through two 20-year contracts to Sinopec (7.6 Mt/year as of 2015) and to Kansai Electric (1 Mt/year as of 2016).
