[에너지신문] 15 December 2015 - The Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) of the United Kingdom has successfully completed the second Capacity Market auction, securing 46,354 MW of capacity for the 2019/20 period at a price of £18/kW (€24.8/kW), i.e. over £1 cheaper than in 2014.
Nearly half of this capacity will be CCGT (21.8 GW, i.e. 47%), followed by nuclear power (16%), coal and biomass (10%); out of these capacities 9% are with CHP technology.
Several large companies will offer capacities, such as E.ON, EDF Energy, First Hydro, RWE, ScottishPower or SSE.
