[에너지신문] 21 December 2015 - Chinese EPC contractor Harbin Electric International (HEI) has selected GE to provide two high-efficiency 9HA gas turbines, one steam turbine (engineered by Alstom and now incorporated into GE’s portfolio) and associated equipment for the 1,230 MW Balloki gas-fired CCGT power project in Pakistan. The project is owned by the National Power Park Management Company Limited (NPPMCL) and is expected to help Pakistan avoid blackouts and meet rising power needs.
In October 2015, GE was awarded another turbine order for the 1.1 GW Bhikki gas-fired CCGT power project, which is also expected to be commissioned in 2017.
