[에너지신문] 01 February 2016 - Kozloduy NPP, the operator of the 1,926 MW Kozloduy nuclear power plant in Bulgaria, has signed an agreement with a consortium of Rusatom Service (part of the Russian group Rosatom) and Risk Engineering (Bulgaria) on the extension of the lifetime of 963 MW unit 6. The consortium will carry out a feasibility study on the necessary works for extending the unit's lifetime to 60 years, i.e. until 2051.

Kozloduy NPP operates two 963 MW units, connected to the grid in 1987 and 1991, with operational licenses until 2017 and 2019.
