[에너지신문] 08 April 2016 -  The Ministry of Petroleum of Ghana expects the country to be independent in terms of energy consumption in the next ten years.
Ghana plans thermal power plants to cover 80% of its power capacity by 2025, with gas-fired power plants supplied by domestic gas being the cheapest option. The Eni and Ten projects are expected to increase gas supply to the Atuabo gas processing plant by 50% (from the current 3.4 mcm/d). A new gas receiving plant is currently under construction in Sanzule (western region) to process 180 mcf of gas from the Eni project.
