[에너지신문] 18 January 2016 - Swedish energy utility Vattenfall aims to be able to build offshore wind projects without any subsidy as of 2025, depending on the projects.

Vattenfall plans to boost its installed wind portfolio from the current 1.8 GW to 4 GW by 2020 and 7 GW by 2025. The company is seeking to sell its lignite-fired and coal-fired and related mines in eastern Germany. In 2015, the group won a tender to build the 400 MW Horns Rev 3 wind project off the Danish coast. The British government announced in 2015 that it would remove onshore wind subsidies (Renewable Obligations) as of April 2016 but would maintain offshore wind incentives.
