[에너지신문] 18 January 2016 - A consortium of Spanish companies, namely Duro Felguera, Elecnor and Elecnor Mexico, acting as the EPC contractor for Mexico's state-owned power utility, CFE (Comision Federal de Electricidad), has awarded Siemens an order to supply two SGT6-8000H gas turbines and two SGen6-2000H generators for the Empalme II gas-fired CCGT (also known as Guaymas III) power project in the Sonora state of Mexico. Construction is expected to last 30 months and the 791 MW project is expected to be commissioned in April 2018. Additionally, Siemens will provide technical assistance during construction and commissioning of the plant.
